Spring Clean-up

Clean up debris, removal of leaves and fallen tree branches on property (in lawn, under trees, shrubs and in garden areas). Lawn will be cut and bagged. All debris will be hauled away and disposed of properly. The property will be inspected for any winter damage at this time. Any damage found during the inspection will be reported to the Customer (contact person in charge of the property).

Mowing, Trimming and Blowing

Lawn will be cut every seven (7) days (weather permitting). Garbage will be picked up and disposed of properly each time Nature's Best Property Services is on site. Trimming around fences, trees, buildings, garden areas, curb lines, drives and sidewalks is performed each time the lawn is cut. Clippings will not be bagged, if the clippings get excessive they will be bagged to maintain a well groomed appearance. Sidewalks, drives and garden areas will be blown free of grass clippings each time lawn is cut.

Shrub and Tree Maintenance

Pruning of shrubs will be done once or twice per season unless otherwise specified. Pruning is done to enhance natural growth using established horticulture practices and timing. Shrubs will be pruned to maintain a neat appearance and proper size in relationship to adjacent plantings, intended function and overall landscape. Groundcover shrubs will be pruned as required, maintaining proper perimeter growth within bed areas. Trees will be monitored and kept free from sucker growth. Trees that are staked or guyed will also be monitored. Supports will be loosened, adjusted or removed when appropriate to prevent girdling of the trunk and encourage tree strength and root development for support. Minor pruning of dead, lower and wind fall branches on trees will also be performed at these times.

Edging

All sidewalks, concrete drives, patios and curbs will be edged as needed to prevent turf overgrowth and create clean appearing lines.

Weed Control in Garden Area

Weeds will be sprayed and pulled in garden areas, on patios, sidewalks and driveway cracks as needed.

De-thatching

All turf areas will be dethatched once per season in the Spring unless otherwise specified. Dead grass clippings (thatch) and debris will be removed and disposed of properly. This will allow your lawn to breath better and get nutrients down into the soil easier throughout the season.

Core Aeration

All turf areas will be aerated once per season in the Fall unless otherwise specified. This reduces soil compaction and controls thatch build-up. It also allows for nutrients to get down into the soil faster and easier.

Fall Clean-up

Clean up debris, removal of leaves and fallen tree branches on property (in lawn, under trees, shrubs and in garden areas). Lawn will be cut and bagged. This also includes the removal of perennial foliage dieback. All debris will be hauled away and disposed of properly.
